Rally for Racial Justice To-Do List – find concrete ways to work for racial justice in South Carolina HERE.

Activists rally for racial justice on 1-year anniversary of Alt-Right attacks on Charlottesville

Columbia, S.C. — On the one-year anniversary of the white supremacist attacks on Charlottesville, anti-racist activists and organizations from across the Midlands will rally at the South Carolina Statehouse grounds. The purpose is to stand in solidarity with Charlottesville and to publicly condemn white supremacy in all its forms. Speakers will highlight the ways white supremacy functions in our everyday lives and will offer concrete ways to work for racial justice in the Midlands. Along with speakers, there will be opportunities to register to vote and learn how to get involved and donate money to local anti-racist groups and activists. The rally, sponsored by Showing Up for Racial Justice Columbia, will be one of dozens held across the Southeast.
